Abstract:
Theme: Multicultural Coexistence Society and achieving Well-being in Asia
The program explores ways to achieve wellbeing in Asia, with a focus on food, health, environments, social systems, and education. The lecture aims to provide students with core abilities for working in the global arena as women leaders who would acquire their own expertise, a sense of duty as a leader, the ability to take a comprehensive view of an issue, and respect for multicultural values. By the end of the lecture, students should be able to:
1) Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of the value & meaning of diversity in culture and issues & strategies for achieving multicultural coexistence society.
2) Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of gender issues & approaches to achieve gender equality.
3) Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of concepts of wellbeing in a global context.
