English Business Skills Training

Rationale and Aims:

The course is designed to train participants in the following areas:

•Business Emails
Understanding and using business English email conventions,using the right level of formality to avoid giving offence

•Socialising and Networking
How to make a good impression and maintain a conversation in a professional context.

•CV writing
Understanding types of CVS, layout and style.

Methodology
The focus of the lessons will be to enable the participants to communicate more effectively in English by providing both the language and the interactive communication skills the students require. There will be a strong emphasis on learning through doing, so the participants will have plenty of chance for practice through role-plays and feedback from the teacher.

Materials
Materials will consist of British Council designed materials.
